After four months of harassing phone calls, Courtney Kuykendall was afraid to answer her cell phone. The Tacoma, Washington, teenager was receiving graphic, violent threats at all hours. And when she and her family changed their cell phone numbers and got new phones, the calls continued.

Remember, this video does explain that the criminal would have to "gain physical access to your cell phone." You're more likely to have someone straight up steal your phone (especially with AT&T, since they use SIM based devices) than "borrow" it to setup tracking software.

However, this is something to be concerned about... especially for woman who may leave their purses lying around, or under their desk, where a villain could get access to their phones briefly, without them knowing about it.

In addition, the FED (U.S. Government) can also eavesdrop on your calls, or simply listen in on your conversation, even when the phone is turned off.
