Classy Reunion

Poem1 min read

SALUTATIONS! A stunning all-class reunion happily exploded in September! Reliving our memories, we now laugh and even cry, as we thankfully remember Times, places, classmates who created event-changing moments that resonated, Enriched us with their unique personalities, as each memory was renewed, savored.

Yesterday, girls wore poodle skirts, penny loafers, bright fuchsia or chartreuse socks, And tops with skirts, dyed-to-match, bright red lipstick, penny loafers, long hair locks. Guys with ducktail haircuts, gelled into place, wore T-shirts, jeans low on their hips, Leather shoes with metal taps that alerted all of their ‘cool arrival’ with loud clicks.

Times past, we gathered in the halls and on the front steps as we traded class notes. Kids, eagerly enjoying life; talking about cars, drive-ins, pep rallies, cafeteria jokes. One for all; all for one. We claimed WINS in scholarship, sports, and friendships, too. We treasure these rocking histories, true victories, rolling legacies; ALUMNI, WE SALUTE YOU!

I Believe

I believe for every drop of rain falls A flower grows I believe that somewhere in the darkest night A candle glows I believe for everyone who goes astray…
