Conquering the Perilous Journey Towards Love

Poem2 min read

Note: This letter was written to a natural birth mother who released her daughter for adoption. Although we will never meet this honored mother, she will always be in our treasured remembrances, blessed thoughts, and heartfelt prayers.

Dear Birth Mother,

We are writing to thank you for making the decision to allow your child’s life to be changed on that day. You chose to create a future that was safe and filled with love, so adoption became the only way, To create a new life story. You wanted to give the new baby a family of two parents, and to gain a reprieve, So that your daughter would have Security and her life of Success could be solidly achieved. Now, she’s grown, has mastered her goals, earned degrees, so patients’ pains could be obliterated. She has ministered love, guided others to be healthy, shared remedies, and celebrated. Birth Mom, you released your child to Adoption’s Security, Love, and lifetime of Dignity. Her Future, Safety, and Success were all assured because you blessed her God-given Destiny, By embracing the perfect solution… Adoption’s Answer… at the discipled end. You left an eternal legacy as a courageous and loving Mother, Hero, and Friend.

Scripture reference: NKJV Job 10:12 “You have granted me life and favor, and your care has preserved my spirit.”
