He could barely walk. Actually, he could barely stand without his leg wobbling and shaking. When no one was looking, back when he was in the batting cage outside the Los Angeles Dodgers' locker room during Game 1 of the 1988 World Series against the Oakland A's, he actually used a bat a few times as a walking cane, to balance himself.

Written by an 8 year old from Chula Vista, CA, for his third grade homework assignment. The assignment was to explain God. I just wonder if any of us could do as well?

One of God's main jobs is making people. He makes them to replace the ones that die, so there will be enough people to take care of things on earth.

He doesn't make grownups, just babies. I think because they are smaller and easier to make. That way he doesn't have to take up his valuable time teaching them to talk and walk. He can just leave that to mothers and fathers.

When given a third-grade homework assignment to "EXPLAIN GOD," this is what 8-year-old, Danny Dutton, of Chula Vista, CA, had to say.

University of Georgia fans and administrators love their new coach, especially after beating Tennessee.

Athens -- Mark Richt has won five games and is on his second honeymoon. Predisposed to like any new coach, Georgia fans have swooned over this one.
