She came in as a baby in 1998 with two broken wings one of them broken in four places. Her left wing doesn't open all the way even after surgery. She's my baby. I was supposed to end up in the hospital in a wheelchair. My parents told me that the day I was brought into the hospital, my face was yellow and I wouldn't stop crying. The doctor said it was permanent. But in just one month, I went back to the doctor, and he said the lead poisoning was completely gone.
