Do you know the legend of the Cherokee Indian youth's rite of Passage?
His father takes him into the forest, blindfolds him and leaves him alone.
He is required to sit on a stump the whole night and not remove the blindfold until the rays of the morning sun shine through it.
He cannot cry out for help to anyone.
Once he survives the night, he is a MAN.
He cannot tell the other boys of this experience, because each lad must come into manhood on his own.

Can’t Argue With Kids
The Sunday School lesson for the first graders was on the plan of
salvation. The teacher asked, "If I sold my house and my car, had
a big garage sale, and gave all my money to the church, would I
get into heaven?"
"No!" all the children answered.
"If I cleaned the church every day, mowed the yard, and kept
everything neat and tidy, would I get into heaven?"
Again, the answer was, "No!"

Sally jumped up as soon as she saw the surgeon come out of the operating

When can I see him?" The surgeon said, "I'm sorry. We did all we
could, but your boy didn't make it." Sally said, "Why do little
children get cancer? Doesn't God care anymore? Where were you, God,
when my son needed you?" The surgeon asked, "Would you like some time
